Get to Know Us
We are two Armenian-American seniors in high school who want to make a difference for children in both Armenia, and the Armenian diaspora. Being Armenian is a large part of our identities, and we feel strongly about giving back to our community.

Co-FounderMy name is Ani Perl, and I’m a 17-year-old Armenian-American. Throughout my life, I’ve embraced my Armenian heritage by speaking the language, participating in traditional dance, and attending Camp Haiastan each summer. One of my most unforgettable experiences was visiting Armenia when I was just 8 years old, where I deepened my connection to my roots.
Witnessing the challenges faced by my community is deeply unsettling, and I refuse to stand by as innocent children and families endure such hardship. I am driven by a desire to ensure that all Armenian children have access to the same opportunities that I have been fortunate to experience.

Co-FounderMy name is Alisa Ficiciyan, and I am an 18-year-old Armenian-American from the Boston area. Being Armenian has always been a big part of my identity: speaking Armenian, going to an Armenian school, going to Armenian camp, and gaining my closest friends from these experiences. Most of my family lives in Armenia, making it even more important for me to give back to Armenia. As a child, I was lucky enough to have an adequate education. This being said, there are a lot of Armenian children who don’t have access to this same opportunity. I believe that a proper education should be something that all children have equal access to, as it can unlock many opportunities. If all children in Armenia had these opportunities, it would be one step towards creating a stronger Armenia. For this reason, I am really motivated to help children across Armenia to gain greater access to an enriched education.
