Efforts we Sponsor

Alen Margaryan Charitable Foundation

In June, 2025, we traveled to Armenia and had the privilege of meeting with the mother of Alen Margaryan—a bright, driven young man who voluntarily deferred his admission to Boston University to serve two years in the Armenian military. Alen was a gifted reader, writer, and linguist, speaking seven languages. Tragically, his life was taken in 2020 during the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, alongside 5,000 other young Armenian men.

In his memory, Alen’s family established the Alen Margaryan Charitable Foundation to provide financial support for children in Armenia seeking educational opportunities—a cause that honors Alen’s deep love of learning. With the support of donations collected over the past year through our GoFundMe campaign, we are proud to have contributed $1,000 to the foundation.

Children of Fallen Heroes

The Armenian Relief Society sponsors a program that benefits children of heroes who sacrificed their lives during the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The money provides them with stable resources and education.

In November 2024, we organized a paint night fundraiser, successfully raising $1,165.

ARS Javakhk Programs

Camp Javakhk is an initiative supported by the Armenian Relief Society, with locations in several towns across Georgia. Its mission is to unite the Armenian Diaspora in providing Armenian children in Javakhk with a memorable summer camp experience.

In July 2024, we organized a chess tournament fundraiser, successfully raising $600 for the cause.
